Clemens Eder

Clemens Eder has a diverse and extensive work experience. Clemens began their career as an Intern at Procter & Gamble in 2002 and then interned at CA IB Corporate Finance Beratungs Ges.m.b.H. from 2000 to 2003. Clemens worked as an Information Manager at Oesterreichische Kontrollbank from 2003 to 2005 and then as a Trainee at the Austrian Economic Chamber from 2005 to 2007.

In 2007, they joined OMV Aktiengesellschaft, where they held multiple positions over the years. Clemens served as Group Reporting Expert from 2007 to 2010, Treasury Expert from 2010 to 2012, Managing Director/Head of Business Processes & Operations at OMV Trading GmbH from 2012 to 2013, and Managing Director of OMV Supply & Trading AG from 2014 to 2015. Clemens also worked as Finance Director at OMV Supply & Trading Limited from 2015 to 2015 and as Head of Supervisory Board Office from 2015 to 2016. Clemens concluded their tenure at OMV as Senior Vice President/Group Treasurer & Chief Risk Officer from 2017 to 2018.

Since 2018, Clemens Eder has been with Mondi Group, initially serving as Finance Director Fibre Packaging/Paper from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Finance Director Flexible Packaging, taking charge of the division's financial aspects, including controlling, budgeting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, risk management, and compliance. Clemens also oversees M&A activities, IT functions, and manages a central team.

Clemens Eder earned a Master's degree in International Business from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, in 2002, they completed the CEMS MIM program at Esade and also participated in the CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education from 2001 to 2003, specializing in International Management. In 2012, they attended the London Business School's Emerging Leaders Programme (ELP).
