Al Mercado is a seasoned professional in data analytics and cloud consulting with extensive experience across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Cloud and Data Consultant at Mission Cloud since April 2023, Al is developing an alternative to the GCP Business Intelligence platform for a major healthcare client. Previous roles include Senior Data Analytics Engineer at CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE, where data pipeline modernization was implemented for Estee Lauder, and Cloud Solutions Consultant at Dito, addressing GCP service implementations for various clients. Additionally, Al has held positions as a Data Science Engineer at Mondo, Consultant in Data Science & Business Analysis at EDI Inc, and Data Miner at Techvanguard Services. As Co-Founder and Chief Research Analyst at Pacbasin Technology, innovative advancements in nanomaterials were explored, while earlier consultancy roles included working with ETL data pipelines at Access / Greaterthanone. Al's education includes advanced degrees in Chemistry and Optics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics.
