Jake Wombwell-Povey

Jake Wombwell-Povey is a seasoned professional in the Sustainability and ClimateTech sectors, currently serving as Managing Partner at 7 Generation Ventures since March 2018, where investment and coaching of purpose-driven founders are the focus. In addition to empowering high-performance leaders through tailored development programs, Jake holds multiple board memberships, serves as a mentor to startups, and actively participates in initiatives driving ESG practices within venture capital. Other roles include being an Investor at Vala Capital, a Steering Committee Member at VentureESG, and a host for the initiative "Venturing Into Sustainability." Jake's educational background includes a BSc in Management, International Business & Economics from The University of Manchester, complementing prior studies at Warwick.
