Shivani Patel

Shivani Patel has a diverse range of work experience. Shivani started their career in 2013 at Jay Plastics Group of Companies, where they worked as an Assistant Production Manager and later as a Production Engineer. In these roles, they oversaw raw-material inventory, negotiated with suppliers, managed production schedules, and ensured on-time delivery for customers.

In 2016, Shivani worked at The University of Arizona as a Teaching Assistant for the College of Engineering, where they assisted faculty members with exams, grading, and other projects. Shivani also served as a Mathematics Tutor at the SALT Center, providing individual tutoring in algebra and calculus for undergraduate students.

Starting in 2017, Shivani became self-employed and focused on self-education. Shivani participated in a training program on waste management and learned about the circular economy through MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses).

More recently, Shivani joined Mondra in 2021. Shivani worked as a Junior LCA Research Consultant from March 2021 to June 2022, where they conducted life cycle assessment (LCA) data research for clients. Later, they served as an Associate LCA Research Consultant from July 2022 to January 2023, where they prepared and modeled Life Cycle Inventory data on Open LCA software. Currently, they hold the position of Senior LCA Analyst at Mondra.

Shivani Patel completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at B. M. S. College of Engineering from 2009 to 2013. Shivani then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Material Science at the University of Arizona from 2015 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Shivani has obtained several certifications. In January 2017, they received a certification in "Material Science- 10 things every engineer should know" from Coursera Course Certificates. Shivani further enhanced their knowledge by obtaining a certification in "Municipal Solid Waste Management in Developing Countries" from Coursera in March 2018. Shivani continued to expand their expertise by completing the "Fundamentals of Life cycle assessment" certification at Udemy in October 2021. Most recently, in September 2022, they obtained a certification in "Construction Product Life Cycle Assessment" from One Click LCA.
