Mondriaan Fund
Barbara Strating is an experienced arts and culture professional currently serving as a member of the Supervisory Board at Bonnefanten since September 2024 and as a curator and program maker at Maastricht University since June 2018. Strating oversees approximately 40 programs annually that intersect science, current affairs, and the arts. Additional roles include serving as an advisor at the Mondriaan Fund since January 2023 and being a member of the External Advisory Committee for Limburg Film Office from September 2020 to December 2022. Previously, Strating contributed to multisensory accessibility initiatives at the Van Abbemuseum and held various positions at organizations such as KloosterKino and Go Short International Short Film Festival Nijmegen. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Art and Cultural Studies from Radboud University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, also from Radboud University.

Mondriaan Fund
The Mondriaan Fund is the public fund for visual art and cultural heritage in the Netherlands. It enables plans, projects and programmes of artists, exhibition makers and critics, museums and other art and heritage institutions, and publishers and commissioners. All contributions reinforce the production or presentation of art and heritage from the Netherlands, both at home and abroad, where the market doesn’t do this (yet).
