Eelco van der Lingen

Eelco van der Lingen is an accomplished professional in the arts sector, currently serving as Director and Chairman of the selection committee at Mondriaan Fonds since June 2017. Previously, Eelco contributed to the Frank Mohr Institute as a committee member of the workfield advisory board and worked as a curator of contemporary and modern art at Fries Museum. Eelco has held various roles including committee member for multiannual subsidies at Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, external examiner at Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, and guest curator at Museum Kranenburgh. Eelco is also the initiator, founder, and director of Kunstruimte Nest, a contemporary art platform, and has experience as a reporter for Trendbeheer and a committee member for Materiaalfonds. An education in Digital Arts was obtained from Middlesex University.
