Mondriaan Fund
Maaike Kool holds a degree in History from Radboud University and has extensive experience in project leadership and cultural heritage management. Currently serving as a fund developer and project leader for the Museum Gebroeders van Lymborch Huis, Maaike is also responsible for the heritage menu for primary education at Stichting Clink! and advises schools on heritage-related matters. Maaike has held various roles, including advisor for visual arts and cultural heritage at Mondriaan Fonds, board secretary at Museum Villa Mondriaan, and castle manager at Kasteel Doornenburg, where responsibilities included daily operations, public relations, event organization, and fundraising. In addition to cultural projects, Maaike is the owner of Maaike geeft Yoga, offering yoga and meditation sessions for individuals with acquired brain injuries, and Maaike Museummens, providing project management and support within the cultural sector. Educational achievements include a degree in Yogadocent and continued studies at the Upledger Instituut Nederland.

Mondriaan Fund
The Mondriaan Fund is the public fund for visual art and cultural heritage in the Netherlands. It enables plans, projects and programmes of artists, exhibition makers and critics, museums and other art and heritage institutions, and publishers and commissioners. All contributions reinforce the production or presentation of art and heritage from the Netherlands, both at home and abroad, where the market doesn’t do this (yet).
