Tim Nielsen

Tim Nielsen joined the Moneta Group in 2023 after realizing early on in his career, for anyone to be financially successful, it doesn’t stop at Investments. You need to have a sound financial plan for retirement, taxes, insurance, and ultimately, legacy. Being with a firm that equips their teams to handle complex planning for any situation made the decision to join Moneta and the Borglum Team an easy one.

Tim graduated from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Marketing. Right out of college he started his financial career with Commerce Bank before eventually moving to the Advisory role with Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. in 2019. In 2021 he wanted to take his career a step further and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ designation, indicating a high standard of excellence and professionalism as a financial planner.
