Nagaraj Subrahmanya

Nagaraj Subrahmanya is the current Head of Risk & Analytics at Money View. Nagaraj has also served as the Chief Risk Officer at Avanti - Financial Inclusion For 100 Million for 3 months. Prior to that, they were with Money View for 6 years 1 month, where they served as the Director, Whizdm Finance Pvt Ltd., Chief Risk Officer, and Independent Consultant.

Subrahmanya is responsible for driving MoneyView's industry leading risk performance through three key elements: robust credit/fraud risk assessment models leveraging advanced Machine learning algorithms to harness the vast amounts of customer data; a dynamic and flexible credit decisioning infrastructure to enable policy implementation at a micro-segment level in a very nimble manner; and setting up of a collections unit with the underlying infrastructure to support the scaling business. Nagaraj has also led the assessment of the value of SMS & other mobile data captured via MoneyView's PFM app and the monetisation strategy for the same.

Prior to their work in the financial sector, Subrahmanya worked as a Research Associate in the Combustion, Gasification & Propulsion Laboratory at the Indian Institute of Science for 2 years.

Nagaraj Subrahmanya has an MBA from the Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and a Master of Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Nagaraj also has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore.
