Marko Katavić is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Head of Decision Science at Moneybox since August 2023, where efforts are focused on developing a scalable AI and personalization strategy. Previously, Marko held the position of Senior Data Science Manager at Instagram and Meta, leading analytics and machine learning initiatives for Instagram Retail. At DAZN Group, Marko was the VP of Data & Decision Science, responsible for designing a central business data science function and implementing a code-first framework for product development. Earlier roles include Director of Data Science at Ipsos, where Marko led data integration projects for audience measurement, and as a Business Development Manager at Ipsos, developing media research projects in the Adria region. Marko’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Information Science from the University of Zagreb, alongside early experiences in iOS development and research assistance.
