Michael Scalia CPA

Michael Scalia, CPA, currently serves as the Director of SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting & SOX Compliance at MoneyLion, where responsibilities include the preparation of form 10-K and 10-Q, technical accounting research, and coordination of SOX controls. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Senior Technical Accounting Manager at Resideo, focusing on financial reporting and technical accounting, and prepared disclosures while reviewing the accuracy of 10-Q/K filings. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Manager at The Siegfried Group, LLP, and Assurance Manager at RSM US, LLP, where responsibilities included financial statement preparation, audit processes, and staff training. Michael's early career included an internship at RSM US, LLP and a role as a Residential Assistant while completing educational qualifications in Accounting, earning both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut.
