Mirza Ashraf Beg

Mirza Ashraf Beg is an experienced professional in the financial services industry. Mirza Ashraf began their career in 1999 as a Management Trainee at Punjab National Bank in Treasury Operations. In 2000, they moved to Sahara India as a Senior Finance Executive in Treasury Operations. In 2002, they joined Banque Saudi Fransi as a Senior Derivatives Analyst in Treasury Operations. In 2005, they joined ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank as an Assistant Manager in Treasury and Investment Operations. In 2006, they moved to Sharjah Islamic Bank as a Manager, and then Senior Manager, in Treasury and Investment Operations. Mirza Ashraf was then promoted to Head of Treasury and Investment Operations. In 2014, they joined Commercial Bank of Dubai as Head of Treasury, Investment and Islamic Operations, and then Head of Treasury and Corporate Operations. In 2021, they became Principal Partner at Ecoway Global, developing an ecosystem for manufacturing and scalability of biopolymers commercial use. Finally, in 2020, they founded Money Protects, designing a structural and operational plan to bridge the gap between sustainability and long term confidence in financial services.

Mirza Ashraf Beg completed a Master's in Finance and Control from Aligarh Muslim University between 1998 and 2000, with a focus on Banking & Corporate Finance, Management Accounting & Regulations, Company Law & Investment Analytics. Mirza Ashraf also obtained a Bachelor's in Economics (Hons) from Aligarh Muslim University between 1995 and 1998, where they studied Mathematical, Managerial & Applied Economics.
