Riya Bhatia

Riya Bhatia has held various roles in the IT industry since 2017. In 2017, they were a Member of WANGER (Wireless Adhoc Network Group of Engineering and Research), where they worked on network research, specifically Routing in DTNs (Delay Tolernat Networks), as well as IoT and related simulation. Riya was also a Member of Software Development Cell, USICT, where they worked on the Online Faculty Feedback System Project. In 2018, they were a Senior Analyst and Analyst at ION, where they interacted with investment bank clients directly over the phone call, webex/join. me sessions, emails during high priority issues reported by Clients, and had a good understanding of Trade Management life cycle and Position Management. That same year, they were a PR Team Member at Training & Placement Cell, USICT. In 2017, they were an Intern at HCL Infosystems Ltd. In 2018, they were a Summer Intern at Nagarro, where they developed and deployed a Book Resale web app made using Angular 6, Node.js, Express.js and MySQL. Currently, they are a DevOps Engineer at MoneyTap (a Freo product), where they build and manages the AWS foundation platform to enable application deployment, and monitors infrastructure performance, building monitors and alerts using tools like Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Sensu, Squadcast, Sumo Logic, Sentry and Scalyr.

Riya Bhatia completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from University School of Information, Communication & Technology (USICT) in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Modern Vidya Niketan, Sector-17, Faridabad from 2008 to 2015, where they completed their Secondary School with a focus on Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Before that, they attended Modern Vidya Niketan, Sector-17, Faridabad from 2002 to 2007 and completed their Primary School with a focus on Maths and Computer Science.
