Jonathan Monsanto

Jonathan Monsanto has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Jonathan is currently working as a Senior Security Engineer at Moneytree, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior IT Engineer at Coinbase from May 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Coinbase, Jonathan worked at Cogent Labs as an Information Security Manager from November 2020 to February 2021. Jonathan also held the positions of Senior Information Technology Manager from April 2020 to November 2020 and IT Manager from September 2019 to April 2020 at Cogent Labs.

From September 2018 to August 2019, Jonathan served as an IT Manager at Servcorp, where they managed internal and customer-facing IT teams, conducted market research, and provided employee product training.

Jonathan has extensive experience in IT management at William Demant (DGS IT - Asia Pacific) from April 2008 to September 2018. Jonathan served as the IT Manager for the Asia Service Desk from April 2014 to September 2018 and held multiple roles concurrently, including Regional Release Manager (Process Management) from April 2010 to August 2018, Incident Manager, Asia from November 2013 to January 2016, Leader, Asia Service Desk from April 2010 to April 2014, and Regional IT Support Specialist from April 2008 to April 2010.

Prior to their IT management roles, Jonathan worked as an English Language Teacher at the Institute for English Communication from March 2006 to March 2008. Before that, they served as an Assistant Language Teacher at Interac from April 2005 to March 2006.

Jonathan's career began as a System Engineer at CBS Outdoor from May 2003 to March 2005, followed by freelance IT consulting work from March 2001 to May 2003, and roles as a LAN Technician from February 1998 to March 2001 and Computer Specialist from May 1996 to March 1998 at Chase.

Jonathan Monsanto obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from New York University, completing their studies from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, they participated in the Japan Market Expansion Competition (JMEC'20) for business development. Jonathan also received training in interpersonal and social skills from Dale Carnegie Japan.
