Paul Chapman has over 20 years of experience in the technology and finance industries. Paul began their career in 2000 as the CTO and Founder of Thomson Reuters cvMail, a recruitment management platform for the legal industry in Australia and the United Kingdom. In 2006, they became the IT Director at en world group, a fast-growing recruitment company in Tokyo, where they were responsible for IT operations and strategy. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Founder of Long Weekend, a boutique development studio that built and consulted for global brands. From 2010 to 2012, they were an Adjunct Industry Fellow in Mobile Software at Swinburne University of Technology, where they developed and delivered post graduate courses in data driven mobile application development. Since 2012, they have been the Chief Executive and Founder of Moneytree, a financial data platform working with banks and fintechs to build the future of finance.

Paul Chapman obtained a Bachelor of Business in Banking & Finance from Monash University's Faculty of Business and Economics. Paul also obtained an Associate Diploma in Language in Japanese from Monash University's Department of Japanese Studies. Additionally, Paul Chapman participated in an exchange program in Economics & International Law at Saitama University's Economics Department. Paul also holds a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 1 certification from the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchange & Services.
