Ankit Kakkar

Ankit Kakkar has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Ankit began their career as a Software Engineer at Steria in 2004, where they worked until 2007. Ankit then joined GlobalLogic and held several positions, including Senior Software Engineer, Lead Engineering, and Senior Lead Engineering from 2007 to 2013.

In 2013, Ankit Kakkar joined BloomReach as a Member of Technical Staff and later transitioned to the role of Technical Project Manager, focusing on integrations and solutions. During their time at BloomReach, they provided technical support, managed customer product deployments, and built successful customer relationships until 2015.

Since 2015, Ankit Kakkar has been working at MongoDB, initially as an Engineering Team Lead in Technical Services and later as an Engineering Manager. At MongoDB, they founded and managed the Gurgaon and Bangalore Technical Services engineering teams, handling recruitment, mentoring, and customer management. Ankit also played a crucial role in establishing support processes, assisting with financial matters, and engaging with the MongoDB community. In 2021, they assumed the position of Director, Technical Services at MongoDB.

Ankit Kakkar pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University from the year 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their schooling at DAV Public School, Rohini, between 1994 and 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Ankit Kakkar obtained several certifications from edX. These include the "edX Verified Certificate for Leading High-Performing Teams" in December 2021, the "edX Verified Certificate for Leading in a Complex Environment" in December 2021, and the "edX Verified Certificate for Becoming an Effective Leader" in June 2021.
