Cian Walsh has a diverse work experience in the field of recruitment and talent acquisition. Cian started their career at Sigmar Recruitment as a Recruitment Consultant from June 2016 to September 2017, before being promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant from September 2017 to September 2018.

Cian then joined LinkedIn in September 2018 as a Talent Acquisition Partner for the EMEA region. In this role, they recruited for various positions within the Sales Org, Marketing, G&A, Sales Engineers, and Operations. Cian also served as a Campus Recruiter for EMEA and LATAM, leading the recruitment for LinkedIn's graduate programs and internships, planning and executing events, and achieving 27 successful hires within three months.

Currently, Cian is working at MongoDB since March 2020. Cian initially started as a Corporate Recruiter and collaborated with stakeholders from front line management to SVP level. Their responsibilities included recruiting for positions ranging from IC to VP level across various departments such as HR, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, Business Operations, Data Science & Analytics, and Global Operations in EMEA and North America. Cian also played a key role in the Diversity Recruitment committee for global tech and corporate teams. Cian has taken on additional responsibilities, including being the Global ERG Leader and the Corporate Recruiting Lead for EMEA & APAC.

Throughout their career, Cian has achieved notable accomplishments such as receiving the Q4 FY21 Build Together award at MongoDB for cross-functional projects and collaborating with the Employer Branding team to develop and implement MongoDB's first EVP. Cian is experienced in recruiting for different regions and departments, demonstrating their ability to adapt to various environments and deliver successful hiring outcomes.

Cian Walsh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and Marketing, with a minor in Politics, from Atlantic Technological University. Additionally, Cian obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace from ESSEC Business School.

In terms of certifications, Cian has completed several courses on diversity, inclusion, and talent acquisition. These include "Skills for Inclusive Conversations", "Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program", "Diversity Recruiting", "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging", and "Employer Branding to Attract Talent" from LinkedIn. Cian also obtained certifications such as "Attracting, Hiring, and Working with Gen Z", "LinkedIn Recruiter", and "Human Resources: Diversity Recruiting" from LinkedIn.
