Haider Rizvi

Haider Rizvi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Haider currently holds the position of Director, Market Intelligence at MongoDB since October 2022. Previously, they worked at Salesforce as a Principal Software Architect from May 2016 to 2020.

Before that, Rizvi was associated with IBM in various roles. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Distinguished Engineer, CTO Systems Performance, responsible for defining the strategic direction of the Systems Performance team globally. Haider led the team through the successful rollout of Power hardware.

Prior to this, Rizvi worked as a Distinguished Engineer, Systems Optimization Competency Center at IBM Canada from 2011 to 2013. Haider also served as a Senior Technical Manager, driving performance and functional enhancements for DB2 LUW data warehousing workloads. Additionally, Rizvi worked as a Software Engineer and began their career at IBM as a Student intern.

Prior to joining IBM, Rizvi worked at Carrier Telephone Industries, Islamabad as a Design Engineer in the R&D group. Their primary role involved developing plugin cards to enhance telephone switches' digital billing capabilities.

Haider Rizvi has a diverse education history. Haider obtained a B.Sc. Honours degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, completing this program from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Rice University, from 1990 to 1993. Later, in 2000 to 2002, Rizvi enrolled in the Ivey Business School at Western University, where they obtained an MBA in General Management. Additionally, Rizvi also completed an Executive MBA program at the Ivey Business School at Western University, although specific dates for this program were not provided.
