Isabel Rosa Lottchen Peters

Isabel Rosa Lottchen Peters has a diverse work experience spanning a wide range of roles and industries. In 2007, they began their career as an intern at Deutscher Bundestag, followed by internships at Porsche Consulting in 2008 and bettermarks GmbH in 2009.

In 2010, Isabel worked as a research intern at Fraunhofer FOKUS, where they gained valuable experience in research and development. This was followed by another research intern role at the University of St Andrews in 2011, where they contributed to the improvement of a tool that monitors machine performance.

In 2012, Isabel joined Fraunhofer FOKUS once again, this time as a research student, further enhancing their research skills. In 2013, they joined AetherWorks LLC. as a software engineer, where they worked until 2016.

Since 2016, Isabel has been working at MongoDB, starting as a software engineer in the Cloud Backup team, then progressing to the role of Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineering Lead in the Insights and Telemetry team.

Isabel Rosa Lottchen Peters attended Menzel Gymnasium from 2001 to 2008, where they obtained their Abitur with a focus on Mathematics, Computer Science, French, and Politics. Following this, they enrolled at the University of St Andrews and completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Internet Computer Science and Mathematics from 2008 to 2012. Isabel Rosa Lottchen further pursued their studies at Imperial College London, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Advanced Computing from 2012 to 2013.
