Jiping Sun

Jiping Sun has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Most recently, they worked at MongoDB as a Customer Success Manager starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Presales Consultant at GUANDATA from February 2022 to October 2022.

Before joining MongoDB, Jiping worked at Tableau Software as a Senior Solution Engineer from July 2020 to January 2022. In this role, they served as a Solution Architect, providing technical sales support, delivering demos and Proof of Concept, and guiding customers in their transition to a data-driven operation.

Jiping also gained experience as a Business Development Manager at Vision Academy Shanghai from August 2019 to June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at MicroStrategy, first as an Associate Sales Engineer from October 2017 to March 2019, and later as a Senior Associate Sales Engineer from April 2019 to July 2019. In these roles, they conducted pre-sales activities, designed and delivered PoCs, and showcased the features and capabilities of MicroStrategy's solutions.

Before MicroStrategy, Jiping worked at SAP, where they held multiple roles. Jiping started as an AGS CoE Support Consultant Intern from July 2014 to July 2015, receiving training on SAP technologies and supporting project management activities. Later, they served as a Support Associate from July 2015 to March 2017, providing support for SAP solutions. From April 2017 to June 2017, Jiping worked as a Support Engineer specializing in data strategy and data analytics, where they advised customers on the value of predictive analysis, conducted PoCs, and provided sales support. Jiping also provided consultancy for SAP Data Volume Management and participated in various projects.

Jiping's early career included an internship as an Infrastructure and Service Intern at Tata Consultancy Services from March 2014 to June 2014, where they provided infrastructure services and solutions. Overall, Jiping has significant experience in pre-sales, customer success, and technical support roles in the software and technology industry.

Jiping Sun completed a Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering from Dalian Maritime University, studying from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, Jiping Sun obtained certifications as a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate from Tableau Software in November 2020 and as a Tableau Server Certified Associate from Tableau Software in February 2021.
