John Daniels

John Daniels has a diverse work experience in software engineering and management. John is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at MongoDB, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at The New York Times from 2016 to 2022, where they held various roles such as Senior Software Engineering Manager, Software Engineering Manager, and Senior Software Engineer. Before that, they worked at Fog Creek Software from 2011 to 2016, initially as a Software Developer and later as a Team Lead. John has experience in frontend and backend development, familiar with technologies like HTML/javascript, SQL Server, and Redis. Additionally, they had an internship at Microsoft in 2009, where they worked as an Intern - Software Development Engineer in Test, focusing on test automation for an enterprise virtualization system.

John Daniels attended the University of Utah from 2008 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
