Kevin Adistambha

Kevin Adistambha has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Kevin began their career as an intern at Zenith Optimedia, where they gained skills in graphic design tools. Kevin then worked as an IT Supervisor, Network Administrator, and SQL Developer at PT. Lippo Karawaci, Tbk, where they focused on network deployment and maintenance. Kevin later became a Researcher and collaborator at ISO/IEC Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG), where they contributed to the creation of the MPEG-7 Query Format standard.

In 2014, Kevin joined Bond International Software as a Developer, working on software extensions and customizations. Kevin also developed in-house tools for the development and QA teams. Kevin's next venture was at MongoDB, where they held multiple roles including Technical Service Engineer, Senior Technical Service Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Lead of the Community Triage Engineering team. In these positions, they provided technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to the MongoDB community. Kevin also contributed to forums and provided deep technical answers regarding database technologies.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated deep knowledge in various technologies, including database systems, programming languages, and software development.

Kevin Adistambha began their education at the University of Manitoba from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a BSc in Science, specifically in the field of computer science. Kevin then moved on to the University of Wollongong from 2001 to 2002, where they completed a Master of Internet Technology with a focus on informatics. After that, they pursued a Master of Engineering, Research at the University of Wollongong from 2003 to 2006, specializing in audio coding. Lastly, from 2007 to 2013, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Wollongong.

In addition, Kevin Adistambha has also obtained several certifications from MongoDB, Inc. These certifications include C100DBA: MongoDB Certified DBA Associate, C100DEV: MongoDB Certified Developer Associate, M202: MongoDB Advanced Deployment and Operations, M101P: MongoDB for Developers (On-Demand 3.0), and M102: MongoDB for DBAs (On-Demand 3.0).
