Lingzhi Deng

Lingzhi Deng has worked in various software development roles throughout their career. They started at BlackBerry in 2013 as a DSP-Software Developer intern, where they developed an algorithm to enhance the quality of BBM audio calls. In 2014, they interned as a Software Developer at SAP, where they designed and implemented a scheduling feature for a database management system, greatly improving performance on high-spec machines. They then joined Bloomberg LP in 2014 as a Software Developer intern and returned in 2015 as a Database Software Developer. Their responsibilities at Bloomberg LP included database engine development and software development. In 2016, Lingzhi Deng joined MongoDB as a Senior Software Engineer, and later became the Lead Engineer in 2020.
