Nikola Irinchev has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Nikola started their career at GenSoft, where they primarily worked on an ERP system and also contributed to cross-platform mobile app development. Nikola then joined Telerik, focusing on backend infrastructure and development for a cloud-based mobile app platform. Irinchev co-founded Clusterize, an event discovery startup, where they were responsible for the technical aspects of the business and building the engineering team. Later, they joined Realm Inc as a software developer, working on the .NET SDK and later transitioning into an engineering lead role, where they played a crucial role in building a cloud offering. After MongoDB acquired Realm, Irinchev became a senior software engineer at MongoDB, leading a team in developing the first version of Atlas Device Sync and aligning strategies for integrating Realm Sync with MongoDB's services.

Nikola Irinchev received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, spanning from 2007 to 2012. In 2009, they had a brief non-degree study of Japanese Studies at Osaka University. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at the American College of Sofia from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, in December 2013, Nikola obtained a certification in Programming in C# from Microsoft.
