Barry Belfer

Barry Belfer serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Mongoose Studio, beginning in January 2024, where the focus is on transforming the digital landscape for startups. Prior to this role, Barry was the President of Black Swan Financial Consulting, LLC, from January 2013 to January 2024, providing interim CFO services to small and mid-sized businesses. Barry also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Zipari, Inc. from January 2017 to January 2021, contributing to the growth of a venture capital-backed Healthcare IT startup. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance and Treasurer at Guardian Life from January 2002 to January 2013, where Barry enhanced cash flow by initiating the transition from client checks to direct debits. Barry holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business.
