Stanislav Karpikov

Stanislav Karpikov has worked in the software engineering industry for the past 10 years. In 2022, they began working as Lead Developer & SW Systems Architect at Monitor Audio. In this role, they were responsible for creating, assigning, prioritizing, and monitoring tasks for the software team, debugging and maintaining firmware for high end audio electronics systems, and cascading software requirements into the software engineering team. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at HiQo Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer and an Embedded Systems Engineer, where they enhanced two generations of an IoT device to gather environmental audio data, developed PCBs, BSPs, drivers, and tests, and attained the FCC certification. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a freelance Embedded Software and Systems Engineer, where they engineered a smart light control system, an industrial lighting system, and an access controller and a field device. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Avangard JSC as Lead Embedded Software Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer, where they chaired the development of an active power harmonic filter, developed requirements, algorithms, and Simulink models, and created an architecture and C code for the filter and a GUI for Linux and Windows. Lastly, from 2014 to 2017, they worked at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation as a Junior Researcher, where they developed and analyzed fundamental principles of the construction of self-oscillating micromechanical acceleration sensors for orientation and navigation systems, assembled and tested proof-of-concepts of the sensors, set up experiments, and statistically analyzed experiment's data.

Stanislav Karpikov has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" in Engineering Technology, General, which they obtained from 2014 to 2019. Stanislav also has a Master of Engineering - MEng from the Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they obtained from 2008 to 2014.
