Kaiti Ochoa has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Kaiti began their career as a Proctor at ProctorU in 2012. In 2014, they worked as a Hostess at JW Marriott and as an Intern ASL Interpreter at The University of Arizona. Kaiti then worked as a Communications Assistant at CaptionCall in 2015. In 2016, they began working as a Freelance Interpreter, Educational Interpreter, and Public Interpreter at Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind - ASDB. In 2017, they began working as a Secondary ASL Teacher at Tucson Unified School District (TUSD1.org) and as a Freelance Sign Language Interpreter at Arizona Freelance Interpreting Service. In 2018, they began working as an ASL Professor at Pima Community College. In 2020, they began working as the Director of Project Management at MonitorEDU.
Kaiti Ochoa obtained their Master's Degree in Teaching and Teacher Education from the University of Arizona in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Special Education and Rehabilitation degree in Sign Language Interpretation and Translation from the University of Arizona in 2015. In 2016, they achieved an Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment Score of 4.2. In 2017, they obtained an Arizona Provisional B License from the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Kaiti also holds a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate from the Arizona Department of Education.
