Jonathan Mpango

Jonathan Mpango, BSc, MSc, is a seasoned professional in health informatics and data science, currently serving as a Senior Technical Officer at the Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Support (METS) Program since November 2024. Jonathan also holds the position of Vice President at the Uganda Health Informatics Association, which aims to promote health informatics in Uganda. Previous roles include Team Lead for Systems Development at Makerere University College of Health Sciences and OHRI Product Manager at Makerere University School of Public Health, where Jonathan contributed to developing and implementing health information systems. With extensive experience in coordinating national informatics training programs and leading projects like UgandaEMR and DHIS2, Jonathan's expertise is bolstered by a Master's degree in Health Informatics and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Makerere University.
