Freda-McCarthy Ijiebor ACIPM has worked in the Human Resources field since 2018. Freda-McCarthy began their career as a Human Resources Assistant at ETERNA PLC, where they led the production of all HR materials, ID cards newsletters, managed On-boarding and New joiner inductions for all departments, and completed a summary framework for the Performance management calibration meeting. In 2019, they moved on to Sizzlers Corporate Limited as a Human Resources Assistant, where they were the impact driving force behind the design and development of a new and improved employee handbook incorporating the company’s vision and mission statement in line with corporate goals, and played an instrumental role transforming each organisation’s departmental operation through developed KPI’s and KSA’s (Key Strategic Areas). Freda-McCarthy also designed a performance evaluation framework to assist in managing company employee performance expectation and increased performance rates. In 2020, Freda-McCarthy Ijiebor ACIPM worked as a Human Resources Consultant for SIZZLERS FOOD LTD, where they pioneered transformational initiatives to restructure the Payroll system and ensured all back logs of pensions were paid, conceived, designed and implemented a new criterion for recruitment and selection through a re-design of the company’s organisational structure aligned with managements needs, and was charged with training managers on the effect of business operations sustenance. Freda-McCarthy also worked as a Human Resource and Operations Manager at 360 Creative Hub, where they provided Human Resource Services from recruitment, payroll management, learning and development to talent management and employee relations, provided Financial Services including drawing up Management Accounts, and Procurement, and provided Operational Services including managing daily operational expense, driving up operational revenues though product restructure with focus on revenue channels and project Management. In 2019, they worked as a Brand Director at Capcone Creamery, where they masterminded and lead the development of a Brand image for the company, and executed strategies and initiatives to design and develop a B2B marketing campaign, as well as spearhead the execution of Business Development review for the company. Currently, Freda-McCarthy Ijiebor ACIPM is the Head of People at Mono (YC W21). Freda-McCarthy also works as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at 25th and Staffing, where they re-designed and implemented the overall company recruitment strategy, increased client satisfaction by 30% through better client relationship management and targeted recruitment strategies on key candidate pools, exceeded target Performance by reducing time to fill rate to an average of 14 days, and improved organizational approaches by recommending policies and practices aimed at improving attractiveness to job applicants.
Freda-McCarthy Ijiebor holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Option from Central University (2013-2017). Freda-McCarthy is also a Certified Lead Implementer in Information Security and Management System ISO 27001 from Training Heights (2022). Additionally, they hold the ACIPM certification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria CIPM and the Leading Self and Others certification from Poise Nigeria Limited.
