Jaco van Buren-Schele

Jaco van Buren-Schele has extensive work experience in the banking and insurance consulting sector. Jaco started their career as an Audit Clerk at Mazars, where they planned and executed audits for medium to large companies in South Africa. After working there for three years, they joined Weiser LLP as an Audit Manager/Quality Assurance. In this role, they managed and executed large audits in the property and aviation sectors. Following that, they joined Monocle Solutions as the Chief Financial Officer. As a shareholder, director, and group CFO, they oversaw the internal financial function of the group, managed client acquisition strategy, and contributed to the general management and strategy of the company.

Jaco van Buren-Schele completed their education in the field of Accounting Sciences. In 1999, they enrolled at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) degree in 2001. Jaco then pursued further studies at the same university and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Bcom (Hons)) degree in 2002. In 2003, Jaco attended the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants to gain the professional qualification of a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
