Sasha Issenberg

Sasha Issenberg serves as a Consulting Editor at POLITICO, focusing on ballot measures in California since November 2023. Issenberg has been a Lecturer at UCLA since March 2014, teaching a course on presidential elections and previously held titles including Regents Professor and Luskin School fellow. As an author for Penguin Random House, Issenberg has published three notable books, including "The Engagement" (2021) and "The Victory Lab" (2012). Additionally, Issenberg has written for Columbia Global Reports, producing works such as "The Lie Detectives" (2024) and "Outpatients" (2016). Current roles also include American political correspondent at Monocle and a history of contributions to various media outlets, including Bloomberg LP and Slate Magazine. Issenberg earned a Bachelor's Degree in History from Swarthmore College.
