Tillman Schmid

Tillman Schmid is a design engineer at Monoflo International since July 2019, with prior experience as a manufacturing lead at VT Motorsports Formula SAE, where responsibilities included organizing the manufacturing of combustion and electric cars. Schmid's background also includes an R&D engineering co-op at K2M, focusing on sterile packaging, and a junior machinist role at York Machine Works. Additionally, an engineering internship at PERFORMANCE SHOCK, INC. involved designing spherical bearing housings and developing tools for nitrogen fill pressure calculations. Schmid holds a degree from Virginia Tech, completed from 2014 to 2018, and graduated from Petaluma High School in 2014 with a certificate in engineering design.
