As our Finance Manager, you will be take charge of plotting the financial trajectory of the business by working closely with senior leadership to translate strategy and planning into dollars and cents. You’ll be responsible for managing various general accounting functions, overseeing critical processes such as the close process and accounts payable, contributing to management reporting efforts, and fostering collaboration across different departments. You will report directly to our Chief of Staff. 

Accounting & Tax Compliance (30%)

  • Own and develop day-to-day financial processes including creating accounting policies, month-end close, A/R and A/P, compliance/investor reporting, ensuring tax compliance across various regions, etc
  • Administer payroll and sales commissions via our PEO (Justworks). You will also play a big part in compensation plan development across performance functions.
  • Lead internal and external reporting process to provide accurate and reliable information required for business management and external audits

Budgeting & Planning (30%)

  • Lead the budgeting process with each department, and continue to monitor for budget vs. actual performance.
  • Establish a reporting cadence for budget owners to set and review budget variance.

FP&A (20%)

  • Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize resources and drive growth

Strategic Finance (20%)

  • Work cross functionally across all teams to solve complex business problems and drive strategic planning, such as pricing and margin strategy, headcount management, etc

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of experience
  • CPA required
  • Experience working in SaaS startup environment, building financial process from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP (IFRS a plus) and financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Familiarity with QBO / Justworks / Stripe
  • Experience with Python and SQL a plus
  • Experience running payroll
  • Strong analytical and excel skills

Compensation for this role will be dependent on experience. The range is $100,000 - $120,000, likely landing somewhere in the middle.
