Alexander Hoermann has a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on technology and product development. Alexander began their career at Applied Materials in 2000 as a Mechanical Engineer, where they worked until 2007. During this time, they gained experience in the field and developed their skills. In 2007, Hoermann joined AREVA Solar as a Manager of Opto-Mechanical Engineering, overseeing the design and development of solar technology. Alexander held this position until 2012, when they transitioned to Areva as the Director of Product Engineering, responsible for managing and improving product development processes. In 2013, Hoermann joined Monolith Materials as the Director of Mechanical Engineering, a role they held until 2017. Alexander then advanced within the company and became the VP of Technology in 2018, where they continue to contribute to the growth and success of the organization. Alexander Hoermann completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1993 and 1997. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, which they obtained in the year 2000.
