Daniel Weyer

Lead Engineer - Plasma Power Supply at Monolith

Daniel Weyer has extensive work experience in the power supply industry. Daniel currently serves as a Lead Engineer at Monolith, where they are responsible for overseeing a 16MW DC plasma power supply. As a subject matter expert, they are involved in the development, improvement, and testing of the power supplies. Additionally, they monitor the operation of the plasma power supplies during production runs and provides operational direction. Prior to their role at Monolith, Daniel worked at Nebraska Public Power District for over 20 years. Daniel held positions including Asset/Material Engineer and Senior Program Engineer.

Daniel Weyer holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics with an emphasis in Material Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2007, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Finance from Bellevue University. Earlier in their educational journey, Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between the years 1997 and 2002. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained a Professional Engineer License from the State of Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects in January 2008.
