Tom Maier, Ph.D., Esq. has extensive work experience in various leadership and technical roles in the chemicals and materials science industry. Tom currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Monolith Materials, where they lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve breakthrough innovations in the manufacturing of clean hydrogen and carbon black. Tom Maier, Ph.D., Esq. has an extensive education history. Tom first attended Case Western Reserve University from 1982 to 1985, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Macromolecular Science and Engineering with a focus on Polymer/Plastics Science and Engineering.

After working in the field for a few years, Tom returned to Case Western Reserve University and completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from 1988 to 1991.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Tom pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Macromolecular Science and Engineering with a specialization in Polymer/Plastics Science and Engineering. Tom attended Case Western Reserve University from 1991 to 1994, successfully earning their Ph.D. degree.

To further enhance their expertise, Tom pursued an MBA in Strategic Management and Finance from The Wharton School between 2001 and 2003.

Realizing their passion for law, Tom attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.

Additionally, Tom has obtained several certifications. Tom is a Certified Mediator, a Licensed Patent Attorney recognized by the United States Patent & Trademark Office, and they are also a Registered Attorney with The Supreme Court of Ohio, certified by the State of Ohio.
