Cierra Teasdale

Cierra Teasdale is an enthusiastic educator with extensive experience in elementary education, currently serving as a 4th Grade Teacher at Winnequah in the Monona Grove School District since January 2017. Cierra develops standards-based and differentiated lesson plans designed to engage students in their learning. Previous roles include a Student Teacher at Schenk Elementary, where Cierra fostered a growth mindset and collaborated with parents on individualized academic plans, and experience as a Lead Teacher at University Avenue Discovery Center, focusing on interactive and hands-on learning experiences. Cierra's early career also includes positions as a Literacy Tutor, Assistant Teacher, and Practicum Student where lesson design and student engagement were prioritized. Cierra holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
