Aidan Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Aidan began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they contributed to the Burke Group by creating a self-contained building block synthesis kit and proposing solutions for cross-coupling reaction issues. During their time in the Hubler Group, Aidan led a research subgroup and instructed undergraduate lab members on research principles and experimental setup usage.
In 2020, Aidan joined the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as a Research Associate II in the Center for the Development of Therapeutics. Their responsibilities included developing assays to optimize drug candidates, managing a database of over 400,000 compounds, and synthesizing experimental results with prior literature to inform research strategy and operations.
Currently, Aidan works as a Project Management Associate at Monopar Therapeutics Inc., a position they started in 2022.
Aidan Kelly pursued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biochemistry.
