Christian Herrmanns has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Christian is currently an Executive Officer at Kuraray. Prior to this, they held the position of President & General Manager at MonoSol, A Kuraray Company, where they were responsible for overseeing global functions and leading the Executive Senior Leadership Team. Christian has also served as an Executive Vice President and Deputy General Manager at MonoSol, as well as an Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Earlier in their career, they worked at Dow Chemical, Rohm and Haas, Omya, and EPC Europe in strategic marketing and management positions. Additionally, they are an Advisory Board Member at EPC Natural Products Co., Ltd.
Christian Herrmanns earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they also studied Product Management for Technology Companies & Venture Capital at Tel Aviv University. In 2013, they completed a course in Understanding Consumers & Deal Making in China and Asia at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Christian also holds a BBA degree in Business Administration and Management, which they obtained from Avans University of Applied Sciences. Christian pursued further studies in Business Administration and Management at Euro-FH Europäische Fernhochschule Hamburg. Christian Herrmanns also has a BiA degree in Business Administration in Foreign Trade from the Institute for Foreign Trade. In 2016, they completed the Leading for Organizational Impact program at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).
