Nuwan Kasthuriarachchi

Nuwan Kasthuriarachchi has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Nuwan started their career at MATRIX Institute of Information Technology as a Part-Time Lecturer in 2014. After that, they joined Virtusa as an Associate Engineer - Technology from November 2014 to December 2015. Nuwan then worked as an Engineer - Technology at Virtusa from January 2016 to July 2016.

In 2016, Nuwan joined Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd as a Software Engineer, where they developed web-based applications and web services modules for their CRM product. Nuwan was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer and held that position until July 2019.

From 2016 to 2019, Nuwan also worked at Inova IT Systems as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they gained experience in development work.

Since 2019, Nuwan has been associated with Gapstars and Monotch | We Make Traffic Talk. Nuwan initially started as a Senior Software Engineer and was later promoted to Associate Technical Lead in both companies.

Nuwan Kasthuriarachchi completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1998 to 2007, they attended Isipathana College - Colombo 05 and completed their GCE Advanced Level in Biology. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Ruhuna, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)(Sp) degree in Oceanography and Marine Geology, which they completed in 2014. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, Nuwan studied at the University of Colombo School of Computing, where they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree, specializing in Information Technology.
