Dan Rhatigan

Dan Rhatigan is an experienced typeface designer and typographer currently serving as the Director of Inventory Strategy & Curation at Monotype. In addition to this role, Dan holds the position of Secretary on the Board of Directors at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum and works as a typeface designer for Bijou Type. Dan's previous experience includes directing foundry relations at The Type Founders and overseeing type products at Type Network. Dan has also been involved in education as an instructor at the School of Visual Arts and a visiting lecturer at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts. Previous positions include senior management in font development at Adobe and type director roles at Monotype. Dan holds a Master of Arts in Typeface Design from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Boston University.
