Kenji Yanagawa

Digital Marketing / Web Development at Monozukuri Ventures

Kenji Yanagawa has been working in the tech industry since 2016. In 2016, they began working as an English/ Math teacher at Seiki Inc. In 2018, they were a Product Design Innovation Project Member at GoerTek Inc., where they worked on a design thinking/ product design project to enhance food experience with technology. In 2019, they began working at desio as a Product Designer/ Engineer, designing and manufacturing a working prototype of a small electric vehicle. Kenji was also a Digital Marketing/ Web Development and Technical Consultant/ Event organizer at Kyoto Makers Garage/ Digital Marketing at Monozukuri Ventures. In 2020, they began working as a Business Manager/ Accessibility Consultant for Equal Entry's operations in Japan, conducting accessibility audits on various websites, PDFs, and software. Additionally, they became a freelance English Teacher, teaching elementary to high school students, as well as a Freelance Translator (English- Japanese).

Kenji Yanagawa attended Horikawa high school from 2012 to 2015 and obtained a High School degree. Kenji then attended the Kyoto Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2017, studying Mechanical Engineering. Kenji continued their studies at the Kyoto Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2020, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Product Design. In 2021, Kenji obtained the Eiken Grade-1 certification from Eiken, and in 2018 they obtained a TOEFL iBT 104 certification from ETS. In 2016, they obtained a TOEIC 970 certification from the Educational Testing Service. Kenji is currently attending Le Wagon, studying Full Stack Web Development.
