Mindi Shammah-Meath is the President and CEO of Upstate NY Life Support Training Services since January 2007, specializing in CPR, First Aid, ACLS, and PALS training for industrial and health care agencies as an AHA Training Center. With extensive experience as a Paramedic at Monroe Ambulance/Transportation since May 1997, Mindi also served as a Sr. Simulation Specialist at Sports Medicine Concepts from October 2019 to September 2021, focusing on strengthening interdisciplinary medical teams in sports through simulation. Additional roles include Independent Sales Representative at eCore Software, Inc. and Cvent Software Specialist at the University of Rochester. Mindi chaired the STEP Conference from 2007 to 2011, overseeing its logistics and continuing medical education. Educational credentials include a CCEMT-P from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, a degree in Community Paramedicine from the University of Pittsburgh, and an Associate of Science in Emergency Medical Services from Finger Lakes Community College.

Family owned and locally based since 1975, Monroe Ambulance is a full service ambulance and emergency response training company in the Rochester, NY region. Our services include 9-1-1 and interfacility ambulance transportation (including specialty care transport). Our training center is authorized to provide New York State CFR and EMT courses, the full line of American Heart Association ECC courses, and as well as NAEMT products such as GEMS and PHTLS.
