Seth Friedman

Seth Friedman is currently the MD of Compliance & Treasury for CLOs at Monroe Capital. Prior to this, they were with Pangaea Asset Management as an Operations Analyst from February 2008 to March 2009. There, they were responsible for compiling and distributing weekly spreadsheets containing asset information on all Collateralized Loan Obligations in the Pangaea portfolio, as well as assisting in the formulation and implementation of PAM's internal trade closing procedures and compliance. Seth also composed and gathered all internal documentation necessary to satisfy PAM's pre-trade compliance, facilitated all PAM trade closings for both Par and Distressed credits, ran hypothetical trades for all CLOs in the PAM portfolio as part of pre-trade compliance, and managed all internal and external requirements for each CLO's monthly and Note Valuation Reports. Additionally, they gathered compliance deliverables outlined in legal documents for all CLOs in the PAM portfolio, and tracked and forecasted the equity shareholder's returns for each CLO in the PAM portfolio.

Before their time at Pangaea, Seth Friedman worked as a Compliance Analyst at CapitalSource Finance from January 2007 to February 2008. Prior to that, they were a Senior Associate Account Manager at LaSalle Bank - Global Securities, Trust Services from August 2005 to September 2006.

Seth Friedman attended the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where they earned a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Legal Studies. Seth then went on to Indiana University Bloomington to complete their undergraduate studies, earning a degree in Legal Studies.

They are on a team with Brad Bernstein - MD & Head, Equity Group, Scott Marienau - CFO, Management Company, and Nathan Harrell - MD & Head, Portfolio Group. Their manager is Theodore L. Koenig, Chairman & CEO.
