Thomas Rains

Thomas Rains, PT, DPT, has extensive experience in pediatric physical therapy, currently serving as a Physical Therapist III at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital since December 2016. In this role, Thomas provides therapy evaluations and treatments in the inpatient setting, collaborates with various stakeholders for coordinated patient care, and implements quality improvement projects. Prior experience includes positions as a Student Physical Therapist at several institutions, including Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, Masonic Homes, Federal Medical Center, Baptist Health LaGrange, and Star Physical Therapy, where Thomas managed diverse patient caseloads and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Louisville.
