Christine Hurley

Christine Hurley, AICP, currently serves as the Administrator for Monroe County in the Florida Keys, a role held since September 2024. Prior to this, Hurley was the Executive Director of the Monroe County Land Authority from August 2021 to September 2024, focusing on land acquisition for conservation, affordable housing, and environmental protection. Hurley also held significant positions within the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners, including Assistant County Administrator and Growth Management Division Director, overseeing multiple departments and substantial budgets. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at Johnson Engineering, Development Solutions, and the City of Fort Myers, where responsibilities included community development, project entitlement, and planning. Christine Hurley holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Public Administration from the University of South Florida.
