Kristen Livengood

Kristen Livengood, MPA, MPIO, currently serves as the Public Information Officer for Monroe County BOCC, a position held since November 2018. Prior to this role, Kristen was a Writer and Photojournalist for Independent Writing and Photography from December 2004 to November 2018, including contributions as a Staff Writer for The Weekly Newspapers. Kristen's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from the University of Miami (2019-2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism from the University of South Florida (2002-2005). Additionally, Kristen completed Leadership Monroe County in the 2016-2017 cohort.
