Labrit Jackson Pem

Labrit Jackson PEM currently serves as the Chief of Police for Detroit Public Schools Community District and also holds the position of Adjunct Professor in Criminal Justice at Monroe County Community College. Prior experience includes a tenure at Romulus Police Department, where Jackson advanced from Patrolman to Lieutenant, overseeing patrol operations, scheduling, and police personnel. Early career experience includes serving as a Police Officer for Detroit Police Department. Jackson's educational background features a Master's degree from Michigan State University, a degree in Criminal Justice from Baker College of Allen Park, and completion of the Staff and Command program at Eastern Michigan University, alongside a certificate from the Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police.
