Monroe County Sheriff
Connor Curry currently serves as a member of the International Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigators Association since February 2024. Prior experience includes holding multiple roles at Monroe County Sheriff, such as Detective, Drone Operator, and Deputy Sheriff since January 2021. Connor completed training as a Recruit at Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy from July to December 2020 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Florida State University, where attendance spanned from June 2016 to December 2020. Additional work experience includes serving as a Crew Member at Fury Water Sports Adventures during the summer of 2019 and as a Sales Associate at Divers Direct from June 2015 to June 2016.

The Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement service to all of the Florida Keys, which include approximately 125 miles of islands branching off the southern tip of Florida. The main and only highway, U.S. 1 runs from Florida City to Key West, and in that span, there are 42 bridges connecting the islands.
