Monroe County Sheriff
Jo Socha has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in law enforcement and retail management. Currently serving as an Accreditation Specialist for the Monroe County Sheriff since February 2017, Jo continues to contribute under the leadership of Sheriff Rick Ramsay. Jo's tenure with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office began in February 2006 as an Internal Affairs Executive Assistant. Prior experience includes serving as a board member for MARC House Key West from 2014 to 2015 and working as a Store Manager for Walgreens from January 1992 to July 2006. Jo Socha holds a degree in Business from Daytona State College, attended from 1997 to 2000, and graduated from Johnston Senior High School in 1979. Additional education was pursued at St. Leo University.

Monroe County Sheriff
The Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement service to all of the Florida Keys, which include approximately 125 miles of islands branching off the southern tip of Florida. The main and only highway, U.S. 1 runs from Florida City to Key West, and in that span, there are 42 bridges connecting the islands.
